Rihanna is a famous Barbadian singer. Her real name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, known simply as Rihanna
She was born in Saint Michael, Barbados in February 20, 1988 ( 26 years ). She began singing at age nine in primary school Charles F. Broome Memorial School, where she formed her first musical group with two classmates. With fifteen years, the singer was presented by a friend to music producer Evan Rogers, who was vacationing in Barbados. The two then scheduled a hearing in which the girl played the song the band Destiny`s Child, ''Emotion''. A year later the duo of producers Evan Rogers and Carl Sturken, helped in recording songs in the United States of America, in New York City
In 2005,
three months past the contractual signing, was released the first album, Music
of the Sun, exposing its mix of reggae, dancehall and R & B, written by
Evan Rogers and by itself. Rihanna wrote half the songs on the album,
highlighting singles "Pon De Replay", and "There's A Thug In My
Life", "Let Me", "That La, La, La" and "If It's
Lovin 'that You Want ". With nearly 500,000 copies sold only in the United
States, reaching nearly two million units sold worldwide, also won the top 10
in countries like Canada and the United States. The album sold approximately
over 1,505,000 copies worldwide and has been certified by the RIAA as a gold
album. With the album's songs, such as "Pon de
Replay", started his career positively, thus releasing the music video of
their first single world, which would later be highlighted
Besides
