Born February 6, 1945 Robert Nesta Marley was a great reggae singer sang 19 years her biggest hits were Shot the Sheriff " , " No Woman , No Cry " , " Could You Be Loved " , " Stir It Up " " Get Up , Stand Up " , " Jamming " , " Redemption Song " , " One Love / People Get Ready " and " Three Little Birds ." Robert known as Bob Marley was born in Jamaica son of Norval Sinclair Marley son of a white military, captain of the English army and Cedella Booker , a black teenager from the north .
He lived his youth in a large slum called Trenchtown where it was not accepted by moradore by a mulatto and stature so your opinion of the critical problems socias put his youth was muinto difficult . Since small had a strong connection with the music he and his friend Bunny , son of the man 's mother had married Bob , improvised guitars made of tin cans and accompanied the successes from America , particularly in New Orleans , tuned to a transistor radio mini . Unfortunately Bob Marley the king of reggae died on May 11, 1981 at age 36 due to a sore big toe of his right foot , he thought he suffered during a soccer match . The wound has not healed , and his toenail later fell as he threw the ball. It was then that the correct diagnosis was made . Marley actually had a form of skin cancer called malignant melanoma , which grew under his fingernail. The doctors advised him to have his toe amputated , but Marley refused because of the Rastafarian belief that said doctors are men who cheat the gullible by pretending to have the power to heal . He was also concerned about the impact of the operation on his dancing ; amputation would profoundly affect his career at the time was at the height . Marley then underwent surgery to try to excise the cancer cells The disease was kept secret from the general public .
