Demi Lovato
Demi Lovato
is a popular American singer, songwriter and actress. Her real name is Demetria
Devonne Lovato and she was born on August 20th, 1992, in Albuquerque, New
Mexico, USA.
She started
her career in 2002, in the TV Show “Barney and Friends”. Later, she made the
movie “Camp Rock” and the TV Show “Sonny with a Chance”. Now, she is part of the series
"Glee".
After
"Camp Rock", Demi signed a contract with Disney for a solo music
career. Currently, she has a contract with the "Hollywood Records", who releases her CDs.
When a child, she was a victim of bullying, violence that caused many damages in your life,
which made her quit school and be home schooled and suffer from a bipolar
disorder, eating disorders and self-mutilation until her late teens in 2010,
when she was admitted to a rehabilitation center for help. She wrote a self help
book and now, she helps people around the world sending messages
talking about self esteem and acceptance.
