Since childhood, Katy sang in
restaurants and family gatherings, and sime her parents would
not let her listen to other songs
that were not evangelical,
she started singing in the church choir.
Katy studied at Dos Pueblos College,and at fifteen she moved to Nashville to work with
music, composing some demos.
On May 2008, the song "I Kissed a Girl", written by Katy released her first single from her album "One
Of The Boys" which first place in the charts. Soon after came one of her most famous songs called "Hot n 'Cold". In
January, Katy released her second
album called Teenage Dream, and in May her new single called "California Gurls"which was again
first on the charts in several countries,was released.After years Katy released her third album called Prism in October 2013.
