Elton John is a very famous English singer. Reginald
Kenneth Dwight is the real name of Elton John. Elton John doesn’t sing with a
band. He sings alone. He usually plays the piano.
He was born in Pinner on March 25, 1947. He is
67 years old. His parents are Sheila Eileen, and Stanley Dwight. He started
playing the piano when he was 3 years old and he started studying music when he
was 7 years old. When he was 11 years old he started studying at the Royal
Academy of Music, one of the most famous musical schools in the U.K.
Elton John writes the lyrics of his own songs.
His first album was Empty Sky in 1969. His first international hit song was ''Your Song'' in 1970. He often has love themes but he also writes for plays like The Lion King and Billy Elliot.
Recently, he is not writing songs a many. He is
writing themes for plays. He has two children : Zachary and Elijah.
